In fall 2021, Project MUSE launches our new Books Custom Collections, a highly flexible model allowing libraries to customize their acquisitions and make the best use of available funds for the most needed content. Design a collection the easy way by filtering our more than 70,000 available titles on criteria such as subject, publisher, and publication date, or more closely curate a collection by making individual title selections. Easily add electronic access for existing print holdings, or quickly address course needs with a collection tailored to instructor requests.

Libraries will be able to build custom collections with our user-friendly tool:

• Filter available titles by subject, publisher, and/or publication date
• Set a price cap for titles to be included
• Search for and select individual titles to be added to your collection
• Select as few or as many titles as desired, no minimum or maximum
• Create and save multiple collections for review and assessment prior to purchase
• Download and share title lists prior to purchase
• Work with MUSE’s sales team to design a collection that meets your content needs and your budget target

*Some titles have been designated by their publishers as not eligible for any discounting. They may still be selected as part of a collection purchase and will be included at their full digital list price as set by the publisher. You may choose to filter out non-discountable titles during the selection process.
