  • Choose among flexible publishing workflows, including preprint posting, continuous article publication as content is ready, or release of full issues based on publisher preference
  • Publish special online-only issues and other supplemental content

Journals can participate in Project MUSE through two primary programs, depending on their publishing and distribution goals.

Hosted Journals Program

The Hosted Journals program provides full platform hosting and delivery for your journal.

Through this program, Project MUSE:

How to Participate

Journals interested in joining Project MUSE can apply to participate in the Hosted Journals program, Journal Collections, or both. Subscription journals are eligible to apply to our Journal Collections or Hosted Journals program. Diamond Open Access journals are eligible only for the Hosted Journals program.
