Foucault Studies is the only international journal in the English language devoted to the work and influence of Michel Foucault. Since its inception in 2004, it has been publishing top-rate research on or inspired by Foucault entirely open access, and is unanimously considered to be the main scholarly venue for researchers all over the world working on any aspect of Foucault's thought and legacy. Contributions to the journal are not limited to the examination of his work, but also aim to advance the analytical, empirical, and practical use of his analyses, concepts, and methods across disciplines, including but not limited to philosophy, sociology, anthropology, geography, comparative literature, art, education, law, and political science.
Fully open access. Published by University of Pennsylvania Press.
History of Social Science offers an international forum for the examination of the transformations of the social sciences since the early twentieth century. The journal, sponsored by the Society for the History of Recent Social Science (HISRESS), covers a variety of disciplines, from the core social sciences of economics, political science, and sociology, to disciplines with links to natural science, such as anthropology, geography, and psychology, and disciplines closer to the humanities, such as history and philosophy. Related fields, including area studies, business, communication studies, criminology, law, and linguistics, are also included under the journal's editorial scope. An important editorial commitment of the journal is to solicit and cultivate scholarship on the history of the social sciences throughout the world, as well as work that traces the transnational circulation and mutual shaping of ideas, practices, and personnel.
Available in the 2025 PLUS+ Package and as a single title subscription through the publisher. Published by University of Pennsylvania Press.
International Perspectives on Military Education (IPME) provides a centralized home for scholarship and reflections on military education in its many forms. The international military learning community is among the largest and yet least studied educational systems in the world. It employs multidisciplinary scholars at the tops of their fields and educates students who become global security leaders and heads of international armed forces and governments, but we still understand relatively little about it in terms of its unique position within the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Markers: Annual Journal of the Association for Gravestone Studies is the leading scholarly journal dedicated to the study of gravestones, monuments, tombs, and cemeteries. Supported by a distinguished editorial board of experts in cemetery studies, Markers covers diverse regions around the globe, from the ancient world to our contemporary moment. Broadly interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary, the journal presents rigorous analysis and interpretation, delving into areas such as ritual and belief, economics and technology, genealogy and conservation, and especially highlighting the tangible objects—the cemeteries and gravestones—that are its central focus. A vital resource for researchers, Markers is also a visually captivating publication, with rich illustrations that engage readers and highlight the importance of visual culture in the study of cemeteries and gravestones.
